I built this application for my wife's shopify store to address multiple issues she had with the order fulfillment and management process. The link will take you to a demo version that displays the funcitonality and practicality of the app. I am currently in the process of submitting this to the Shopify App Store. The frontend is built using VueJS with custom styling, and the backend is built with NodeJS. The backend interacts with Shopify's REST API.
The 'NP Script' is a command-line script I created to automate and fast-track the creation of new projects. It allows the user to designate a destination folder where the project will be created, specify the project type (currently there are HTML, Vue, Java, Python, Flutter, and Node project types available), and includes an option to automatically initialize a git repository locally as well as a remote on GitHub. I use this script very often and it allows me to be much more efficient with my time.
SimplyNote is a notes app I created using Angular 7 and Bootstrap. It uses local storage to automatically save notes as you type. I am a singer-songwriter, and I created this because I haven't found any notes apps for songwriting that have given me all the features I want without being extremely bloated.

This is a Personal Blogging app I created using Node/Express/EJS. It has been deployed through heroku using MongoDB Atlas as the database to store posts.

My name is Robert Abbott, and I love to code! I got my first taste of programming when I decided to take a CS class at UVU as a freshman. I fell in love and have been improving my skills ever since. Though I have not yet graduated (expected graduation Fall 2021), I landed a development internship at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints working on a SAAS my sophomore year after having some web dev experience at my previous job as a technical operations admin. Immediately after the internship ended I took the skills I learned and got a full-time job as a Software Engineer at Henry Schein One working on Dentrix Ascend, a cloud-based dental practice software. I am still doing everything I can to improve my skills as a programmer and further my career as a Software Engineer. Some of my other hobbies include songwriting and music production, spending time with my family, and learning about new and unfamiliar things. I have a strong work ethic that's focused on honesty, value, and results, and I am on the lookout for my next opportunity with an amazing company!
